Automation: 6day workshop in Split

Automation: 6day workshop in Split

Academy of Arts of the University of Split, Split, Croatia

From 16th till 21st October Nefula will be in Split to held a Near Future Design workshop about one of the most focused “big” global issue: automation.
We’ll be guest from Interakcije (eng. Interactions), an informal educational platform at the Department of Visual Communications Design at the Arts Academy in Split.

During the workshop, participants will speculate about implications and reflections of the global automation trends in the local context. Workshop will be led by Nefula co-founder Tommaso Tregnaghi, with assistance by Oleg Šuran (Department of Visual Communication Design, Arts Academy, Split).
Students (bachelor and master) from variety of different fields (design, arts, psychology, sociology, architecture, engineering, urbanism, etc.) will take part in the multidisciplinary teams aiming to go beyond the limits of design definitions and re-thinking what design is today.

We are excited to came back to Split after the great time we had last year at Speculative Now! It will be also an opportunity to go deeper in the exploration on the futures of work we started this year, since it is very close to automation. Thank you Interakcije, see you in Split!

Workshop is supported by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. More information here
